Improving digital transformation capacity for cooperatives and business households

Speaking at the conference, comrades Phan The Tuan and Dinh Hong Thai emphasized that in recent years, digital transformation has become an important driving force to promote socio -economic development, especially in agriculture and rural areas.

The application of digital technology , e-commerce, traceability and digital platforms helps improve productivity, product quality, reduce costs, expand consumer markets, and create opportunities for rural people to participate more deeply in domestic and foreign value chains.

In Bac Ninh, the digital transformation process in the agricultural and rural areas has been focused on by the province and achieved positive results. Many cooperatives and business households have effectively applied e-commerce, traceability, digital trading floors, and used social networks to promote and consume typical local products such as Luc Ngan litchi, Dong Ky fine art wooden products, Dong Ho paintings, Van village wine, etc.

These models show a positive direction in bringing production and consumption of agricultural products and craft villages to the digital environment.

However, the digital transformation process in rural and mountainous areas still has many limitations due to unsynchronized technology infrastructure, low digital literacy of people, weak management capacity and access to digital markets...

Comrade Phan The Tuan highly appreciated the initiative of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance when choosing Bac Ninh as the venue to organize the conference to improve the capacity of digital transformation in production, business activities and trade promotion for cooperatives and business households in rural and mountainous areas.

He affirmed that the organization of this conference is of great significance, contributing to the interpretation of groups of solutions to improve the digital transformation capacity for the cooperative system and business households in rural and mountainous areas in Bac Ninh province as well as the whole country. Promote production and business in a modern, efficient and sustainable direction. Build a smart rural model, digital agricultural economy; closely connect production and market, increase income for people.

Delegates witnessed the signing ceremony of a cooperation document between the Institute of Science, Technology and Environment and the Vietnam Halal Certification Council.

At the conference, delegates listened to important presentations such as: Digital transformation, improving the operational capacity of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance system; solutions to build smart new rural areas contributing to creating breakthroughs in science, technology development, innovation and national digital transformation; improving digital transformation capacity for cooperative members and business households in rural and mountainous areas; applying anti-counterfeit stamp technology in brand development and trade promotion on cross-border e-commerce platforms...

At the conference, the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance summarized 4 months of operating the "Online Product Market" for cooperative members and ethnic minorities; the Institute of Science, Technology and Environment (Vietnam Cooperative Alliance) signed a cooperation document with the Vietnam Halal Certification Council on building and developing products to supply markets for Muslim countries.
