On the morning of November 14, Mr. Truong Hoa Binh - former Politburo member, former Permanent Deputy Prime Minister, representative of the Southern Central Student Liaison Committee presented 700 million VND to the Southern Working Committee to support people in localities affected by storms and floods.


Here, Mr. Nguyen Muoi - Deputy Head of the Central Southern Student Liaison Committee shared that recently, the Liaison Committee organized the 70th anniversary of Southern student schools, right at the time when the North suffered heavy damage due to natural disasters. At the celebration, the participants contributed 700 million VND.

The organizing committee decided to use all of the money to support the people. “This is to show gratitude to teachers and the people of the North who have supported us. On the one hand, it helps people overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives soon,” Mr. Muoi emphasized.

Ms. Pham Thanh Tuyen - Deputy Head of the Southern Working Committee (Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee) sincerely thanked Mr. Truong Hoa Binh and the members of the Liaison Committee for their support to the people in the disaster-stricken areas. Ms. Tuyen also said that she will coordinate with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee and agencies and organizations to continue to care for and support the people in the coming time.
