Funds to support people affected by storm No. 10 increased to more than 752 billion VND

On October 6, in Hanoi, comrade Do Van Chien, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front continued to receive donations to overcome the consequences of storm No. 10 from many localities, businesses, units and philanthropists.

Speaking at the reception, comrade Do Van Chien reviewed the statistics and reports on human and property damage caused by the storm. storm number 10 caused in many provinces and cities across the country. In that situation, the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front organized a launching ceremony to support compatriots suffering damage from storm No. 10.

Stating the reality that "no matter how strong the storm is, it will pass, only comradeship and brotherhood will remain", he pledged that the donated funds will be used for the right purpose by the Central Relief Mobilization Committee - Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, effectively, publicly, transparently, and under the supervision of the people and society.

Comrade Do Van Chien believes that in the coming time, there will be more agencies, businesses, organizations, groups, and philanthropists both at home and abroad contributing valuable resources to support and accompany people affected by natural disasters to soon rebuild their lives.

Presenting the donation to the Central Relief Mobilization Committee - Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Deputy Secretary of Can Tho City Party Committee Nguyen Tuan Anh hopes that, in the spirit of mutual love and support, through The Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front said the aid money will be promptly distributed to people in localities affected by storm No. 10.
