Handing over 4 houses to poor households from international funding

From September 8 to 10, volunteers from Korea directly painted the walls before the houses were completed and handed over to 4 poor families in Hien Luong commune. This is an activity within the framework of the project "Supporting funding for eliminating temporary houses, dilapidated houses and volunteer labor" connected by the Department of Foreign Affairs, the Vietnam-Korea Cultural Exchange Center (KCCC), Korea, mobilized from Incheon International Airport Corporation. The total sponsorship value is 592 million VND.

The families participating in the project were carefully selected by the People's Committee of Hien Luong commune, all of whom are poor and in difficult circumstances. In particular, the family of Mr. Nguyen Huu Dong is a war invalid, and his wife is severely disabled. Each family received 130 million VND to build a house and was supported with wall painting costs.

This is one of the projects promoted by the Phu Tho Department of Foreign Affairs, actively responding to the emulation movement "Phu Tho joins hands with the whole country to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses by 2025"; at the same time, it is a testament to the good cooperative and friendly relationship between the Korean people and the Vietnamese people, contributing to enriching the picture of people-to-people diplomacy between the two countries.
