Retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue increased sharply

Total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue in the province in September 2025 is estimated at VND 8,678 billion, up 16.5% over the same period; accumulated in the first 9 months of 2025, total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue is estimated at VND 76,436 billion, up 15% over the same period.

Supermarkets and shopping malls offer many promotional programs to help stimulate consumption.

In addition to stimulating consumption, departments, branches, and the Provincial Cooperative Union have promoted activities to support units, enterprises, cooperatives, production and business establishments in the province to participate in the Shoppe e-commerce platform.

At the same time, in coordination with the Ban Viet Production, Trade and Service Cooperative (Ban Viet Cooperative), we opened a "Ban Viet - Thai Nguyen Booth" on the Shopee e-commerce platform, connecting with the "Thai Nguyen Product Booth" page. Up to now, 85 products/product sets have been put on the booth; 1,050 orders have been successfully sold; 125 Livestream sessions have been organized to promote and sell Thai Nguyen province's products on the Shopee e-commerce platform.

The Department of Industry and Trade coordinates with relevant units to train business skills on digital platforms, develop brands and build images for enterprises and cooperatives.
