Premier League rankings round 8: Man United close to top 5 - Graphics: AN BINH
Round 8 of the Premier League ended with victories for most of the big teams such as Man City, Arsenal and Chelsea.
Arsenal continued to maintain their top position with a 1-0 win over Fulham. The Gunners currently have 19 points (+12 goal difference).
Man City have bounced back after a slow start to the season. Pep Guardiola's team has 16 points after 8 matches and is in 2nd place.
Despite being held to a draw by Crystal Palace, Bournemouth still finished the round in third place.
The shocking defeat to Man United at Anfield has caused Liverpool to fall to 4th place. The "Red Brigade" is really going through a crisis after going through a series of four consecutive losses.
Chelsea also successfully "squeezed" into the top 5 after an easy 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest.
Man United climbed to the top half of the table after beating Liverpool 2-1 in the early morning of October 20. This was also the first time coach Amorim's team had won two consecutive victories in the Premier League this season.
With 13 points, the "red devils" are only 1 point behind Chelsea's top 5 and 6 points behind Arsenal's leading position.
Nottingham Forest, West Ham and Wolverhampton are the bottom three teams in the table.
