Tuoi Tre Newspaper awards "Tiep suc den truong" scholarships to 90 new students in the Central Highlands region

(CLO) On October 27, in Da Lat City (Lam Dong), Tuoi Tre Newspaper coordinated with the Provincial Youth Union of 5 provinces Lam Dong, Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Gia Lai, and Kon Tum to organize a ceremony to award scholarships to 90 new students with difficult circumstances from these 5 provinces.

The scholarship program awarded to 90 new students from Lam Dong, Dak Lak, Dak Nong , Gia Lai and Kon Tum provinces with a total cost of more than 1.3 billion VND from the "Accompanying Farmers" Fund.

Each scholarship is worth 15 million VND in cash, including 2 special scholarships worth 50 million VND/scholarship for 4 years of study and 4 laptops for new students with special difficulties and lack of learning equipment.

In addition, the organizers also supported 10 free English scholarships for IELTS test preparation courses for new students in Lam Dong and Dak Lak provinces receiving scholarships from the program. Nestlé Vietnam Co., Ltd. sponsored backpacks as gifts for new students.

At the program, journalist Le Xuan Trung, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Tuoi Tre newspaper, commented that the new students at the Scholarship Award Ceremony today have overcome all hardships and adversities to pursue their dreams. Among them, there are students who have written stories full of perseverance and overcoming difficulties, shaking the pages of Tuoi Tre newspaper.
