Google's Bard is rolling out globally, can speak Vietnamese

Specifically, Google said that Bard is “now available in most parts of the world and in the most widely spoken languages. And we’re rolling out new features to help you better customize your experience, enhance your creativity, and get more done.”

Also according to Google, starting July 13, users can interact with Bard in more than 40 languages, including Arabic, Chinese, German, Hindi, Spanish and Vietnamese.

Notably, Bard access has been expanded to almost all countries in the world, including Vietnam. This expansion is notable in relation to Brazil and the European Union - places where chatbots have encountered obstacles regarding data privacy rights.

In addition to expanding the number of languages ​​and countries that can be accessed, Google also added many new features in this update. Specifically, Bard can now respond by audio. That means readers can choose to respond by text or audio.

Additionally, users can change the tone and style of Bard's responses to their liking. There are five different options to choose from: simple, long, short, professional, or casual. However, this feature is currently only available in English.

Another notable detail is that Bard even allows users to share part or all of the answers generated by this chatbot. Additionally, users can also “correct the pronunciation of a word or listen to a poem or script.” According to Google, voice responses will be available in more than 40 languages, including Vietnamese.

Google first opened access to Bard in March of this year, but at the time it was only available in the US and UK. The company has since rolled out the chatbot to more countries. The expansion to the European Union is a notable milestone, as Bard's planned launch in the EU was delayed due to privacy concerns.
