Mid-Autumn Festival – the festival of family reunion, is an occasion for children to have fun, carry lanterns, enjoy cakes and receive loving gifts. However, not all children can have that complete joy, especially children being treated at the hospital.

No fancy stage, no bright lights - but the Mid-Autumn Festival at Thanh Nhan Hospital was bustling with laughter, eager eyes and warm hugs. Each cake, each lantern, each song in the program was a small wish, but full of hope. The program had the participation of children being treated at the hospital, and benefactors directly gave 20 special gifts to children in especially difficult circumstances and 150 Mid-Autumn Festival gifts to other children.

Within the framework of the program, there were many exciting and warm activities such as: Art performances by young volunteers from the two schools, along with medical staff, a bustling lion dance, quizzes with dozens of encouraging gifts for the children. For those who could not attend in person, the Organizing Committee delivered gifts to the hospital room, so that no child would miss out on the joy of Mid-Autumn Festival.

Dr. Nguyen Thi Le My - Deputy Director of the Hospital expressed her emotions: "We sincerely thank the members of the School of Business and Technology, the University of Fire Prevention and Fighting and the benefactors for bringing the children a warm Mid-Autumn Festival like at home. Wishing the children good health, to soon return to their families, continue to go to school and play with friends."

For the children and their families, Mid-Autumn Festival at the hospital is not only a festival, but also a source of spiritual encouragement and warm comfort in the journey of fighting the disease. This meaningful concern contributes to creating motivation, helping the children become stronger, and their families become more confident, accompanying their children on the path of treatment.

The parent of patient Nguyen Phuc Hoang Long, who is being treated at the Pediatrics Department, shared: “Because of his illness, my child had to celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival in the hospital. But thanks to the care of the hospital, philanthropists, and schools, the children were still able to celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival with joy and love. I wish the doctors and nurses good health, that the parents will be resilient, and that the children will quickly recover to reunite with their families, friends, and teachers.”
