Provincial General Hospital proactively responds to water loss incidents, ensuring water supply for key departments.

On the afternoon of October 8, the Provincial General Hospital coordinated with the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of the Provincial Police to deploy a temporary water supply solution to ensure the maintenance of operations of departments and rooms, especially key treatment units.

Officers and soldiers of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department discussed water supply plans with leaders and staff of the Provincial General Hospital.

Due to the impact of storm No. 11, prolonged heavy rains caused widespread flooding. A number of level 1 water pumping stations and booster water pumping stations of Cao Bang Water Supply Company Limited were also completely submerged in water, leading to many complicated technical incidents and pipeline bursts occurring throughout the water supply system.

Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department vehicles were mobilized to supply water to the Provincial General Hospital.

Faced with that situation, Cao Bang General Hospital quickly activated a response plan, proactively contacted and coordinated with the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of the Provincial Police to mobilize two clean water trucks with a capacity of 4m³ to supply water to the Artificial Kidney Unit and the Emergency Department, departments with high water demand, directly serving the work of artificial kidney dialysis and emergency care for patients. Thanks to the timely coordination between units, the treatment and care of patients   Hospital patients are maintained stable, without interruption or impact on professional work.

Currently, Cao Bang Water Supply Company Limited is mobilizing maximum human resources and means to pump out water, check equipment and urgently restore the domestic water supply system. Cao Bang Department of Health has directed medical units in the area to closely monitor the situation, proactively prepare plans for temporary water storage and supply, and be ready to respond in all situations to ensure that medical examination, treatment and health care activities for the people are not interrupted.
