Da Nang Port Border Guards donate to support the Cuban people

DNO - The Border Guard of Da Nang Port (Da Nang City Border Guard) has just organized a campaign for officers and soldiers to respond to the program to support the Cuban people chaired by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society, in coordination with central departments, ministries, branches and organizations.

Support the Cuban people to overcome difficulties.

At the campaign, on behalf of the unit's Command Board, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Van Duc Truong, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of the Port Border Guard, highlighted the steadfast and loyal relationship between the Vietnamese people and the Cuban people in the struggle for national liberation and the construction of Vietnam.

Sharing the difficulties caused by the epidemic and natural disasters that the Cuban people, especially children, the elderly and vulnerable groups, are facing, officers and soldiers of the Da Nang Port Border Guard voluntarily donated nearly 30 million VND.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Van Duc Truong, the contributions of the unit’s officers and soldiers, though small, are warm and meaningful. This is also an act of solidarity, aiming to give strength to the Cuban people – a loyal and devoted friend of the Vietnamese people – to overcome difficulties in the current period.
