Phu Thuong Ward launched the Peak Month "For the Poor" in 2025

On the afternoon of October 8, Phu Thuong ward organized a campaign to support people in areas affected by storms and floods and launched the "For the Poor" Peak Month in 2025.

Every act of sharing, no matter how small, is a valuable source of encouragement to help people in disaster-hit areas overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives. It is also a practical action demonstrating the spirit of solidarity and mutual love - a beautiful tradition of the Vietnamese people.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, leaders, representatives of departments, branches, organizations, residential groups, businesses and people of Phu Thuong ward directly donated and supported on the spot with a spirit of volunteerism and responsibility, together with people in flood-affected areas and supporting poor households and households in difficult circumstances in the area.

The total initial donation amount of nearly 50 million VND will be compiled by the Ward Fatherland Front Committee and transferred to the City Relief Fund and the "For the Poor" Fund, in order to promptly support people affected by natural disasters and disadvantaged families.

According to the plan, the "For the Poor" Peak Month in Phu Thuong Ward will take place from October 17 to November 18, 2025, focusing on propaganda, mobilization, and support for poor and near-poor households; job introduction, giving health insurance cards, supporting housing repairs, improving livelihoods, helping people to stabilize their lives. The Ward Fatherland Front Committee calls on agencies, units, businesses, philanthropists and people in the area to actively support the "For the Poor" Fund by contributing at least one day's salary or one day's income, with the spirit of "a drop of water contributes to the ocean".

Along with the activity of supporting the Fund "For the Poor", the Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Thuong Ward also called on people to respond to the donation movement to support people in provinces affected by storms and floods in 2025.
