Commendation of typical advanced models of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations

On September 22, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Long province held a conference on advanced models of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of the province for the period 2020 - 2025.

Collectives received Certificates of Merit from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Long province.

At the conference, 30 collectives and individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the People's Committee of Vinh Long province; 50 collectives and individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee for their outstanding contributions in implementing patriotic emulation movements and campaigns, contributing to consolidating and promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc, period 2020-2025.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Long Province Le Van Han suggested that all levels, sectors, and members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province continue to launch a widespread patriotic emulation movement among all classes of people. The emulation movement must be closely linked to the political tasks of all levels, sectors, and localities, especially movements and campaigns launched by the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations such as: Sustainable poverty reduction program, new rural construction, civilized urban areas...

All levels, branches, and members of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee pay attention to innovating content, diversifying forms, and focusing on the grassroots to organize and launch with rich emulation forms, with specific themes and criteria, practical content, effective implementation, avoiding formality; focusing on digital transformation in implementing the movement, gradually popularizing digital transformation in the community.

In addition, all levels, sectors, and members of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee focus on improving the quality of supervision and social criticism of policies directly related to people's livelihoods such as social subsidies, poverty reduction policies, infrastructure investment, and the environment; conducting periodic dialogues between the government and the people, especially at the commune and ward levels. In the process of implementing the patriotic emulation movement, all levels and sectors promptly discover, commend, reward, and replicate advanced examples, initiatives, good experiences, models, and creative and effective practices.

In the period of 2020 - 2025, the patriotic emulation movement launched by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations of Vinh Long province has truly entered life, associated with the practical needs of the people, thereby affirming the core political role, being a place to gather, unite, and create social consensus.

Individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the People's Committee of Vinh Long province.

Notably, Vinh Long province mobilized large resources for social security with the total amount of money and goods mobilized by the three provinces (old Vinh Long, old Tra Vinh and old Ben Tre) reaching thousands of billions of VND, thereby supporting thousands of Great Unity houses, Gratitude houses, and Compassion houses, helping people stabilize their lives. Many effective livelihood support models such as "Women's savings groups - helping each other escape poverty" in Vinh Long (old), raising "breeding cows" in Tra Vinh (old) helped households escape poverty sustainably... The new rural construction movement achieved comprehensive results, in which Tra Vinh (old) was the first province in the Mekong Delta region to basically complete 8/8 criteria of a new rural province.

In the period of 2025-2030, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Long province continues to innovate and improve the quality of patriotic emulation movements, associated with political tasks, socio-economic development and people's lives.

Some key targets in this period: Mobilizing the "For the Poor" Fund to reach 100 - 120 billion VND/year; supporting the construction and repair of at least 3,500 Great Solidarity houses/year and striving to have basically no poor households with housing difficulties by 2027. The province strives to have 100% of communes meeting new rural standards by 2030, of which 50% of communes meeting advanced new rural standards, building Vinh Long province to meet new rural provincial standards. In addition, 100% of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at the commune level conducts at least 2 supervisions and 1 criticism/year; 100% of people's opinions and recommendations through the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations are considered and responded to by Party committees and authorities.
