Ministry of Industry and Trade issues action plan to promote import and export

Leaders of the Department of Industry and Trade of Can Tho City met with import-export enterprises in the management area to grasp the difficulties and problems of enterprises in granting C/O (illustrative photo).

The objective of the decision is to synchronously and effectively implement the tasks and solutions in Directive No. 29/CT-TTg, ensuring progress, quality and efficiency. In addition, it is necessary to identify specific tasks and solutions of the units under the Ministry as a basis for synchronously and effectively implementing Directive No. 29/CT-TTg, realizing the export growth target of over 12% in 2025, contributing to the implementation of the economic growth target of 8.3-8.5% in 2025 and double digits in the following years.

In the Decision, the Minister also assigned specific tasks and solutions to the affiliated units, including: Import-Export Department; Foreign Market Development Department; Trade Promotion Department; Multilateral Trade Policy Department; Industry Department; Department of Innovation, Green Transformation and Industrial Promotion. Heads of agencies and units under the Ministry are responsible for organizing the implementation of assigned tasks, regularly directing, inspecting, supervising, ensuring the timely implementation of the goals and tasks stated in this Program, promptly synthesizing recommendations, difficulties and problems for handling or transferring to competent authorities for resolution.
