On the afternoon of September 17, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Information and Communications held a conference to deploy medium-term investment planning for the period 2026-2030 with the participation of leaders and officials in charge of financial planning of units under the Ministry. Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Bui Hoang Phuong directly attended and directed the conference.

According to Deputy Minister Bui Hoang Phuong, the organization of the Conference on implementing the medium-term investment plan for the period 2026-2030 has two purposes: pointing out difficulties and problems in the public investment process and finding ways to solve them.

The conference also provided strategic directions for the coming period to promote digital transformation and develop information technology infrastructure.

Recalling the strong and decisive messages and actions of General Secretary, President To Lam and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on promoting digital transformation, the Deputy Minister especially noted the pioneering role of the Ministry of Information and Communications in promoting public investment.

“ The Ministry of Information and Communications is responsible for digital transformation, information technology (IT), and digital technology . The Ministry must be the unit with the strongest investment in IT and IT equipment systems ,” Deputy Minister Bui Hoang Phuong emphasized.

At the Conference, delegates agreed that there should be close coordination between agencies and units to speed up implementation and resolve backlogs during the implementation process. Many units frankly shared difficulties and obstacles in implementing public investment projects, and proposed practical solutions to improve disbursement efficiency and project implementation progress.

Deputy Minister Bui Hoang Phuong listened to the opinions and suggestions of the units and gave instructions to help the units resolve and find appropriate solutions.
