The book We Are There - Resilient Women is a collection of portraits and inspirational stories of 58 characters, with the message of overcoming adversity to live beautifully, live usefully and spread positive values to the community.
In parallel with the book launch, artist Ngo Quynh Lien brought 10 typical works out of a total of 20 works made from recycled materials in the Rebirth exhibition to display and introduce to the public soon.

These works are completed from pieces with unique artistic materials such as bricks, bottles, ceramics, solid waste, and were painstakingly completed over a year by the female artist with the support of family members, colleagues... They not only supported the collection of materials but also directly participated in the stages of welding the frame and attaching the pieces, so that the artist could complete the work according to her creative ideas.

Sharing about the painting Red Chemicals, artist Quynh Lien said that she used broken bricks, broken porcelain and discarded glass to create this scene: a woman sitting in front of the window, outside is the blue sea and the vast sky. Right in the small room, the red chemical infusion tank - a familiar symbol for patients undergoing cancer treatment appears as a central detail. That image is a parallel between harsh reality and the desire for freedom, between physical pain and the desire to live, to return to nature, to peace.
"When viewers stand in front of Red Chemicals , I hope they not only see a hospital room, but also feel the sky outside - a sky of freedom, faith and hope. Because no matter how fierce the cancer treatment journey is, people always have the ability to turn bitter drops into happiness to live more, love more, and spread more good things," said the female artist.
If the book We Are - Resilient Women honors the beauty of indomitable will and spirit, the exhibition Rebirth depicts the journey of healing and revival from the fragments of life. The two events blend together to create a meaningful series of activities in October, the month of women, of smiles and of spiritual strength.
