Training in exam marking skills for lecturers and foreign language teachers at military academies and schools

On October 7, at the Naval Academy, the Department of Military Training - Schools, the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army opened a training course on exam marking skills for lecturers and foreign language teachers of military academies and schools. Major General Phung Thi Phu - Deputy Director of the Department attended the opening ceremony.

During the 4 days, 81 students learned the following contents: Basic theory in foreign language proficiency assessment; specifications of speaking and writing skills in the foreign language proficiency framework; general knowledge of ensuring examiner quality, scoring scales and scoring processes, and setting standards in foreign language proficiency assessment.

The training course aims to supplement in-depth knowledge and necessary skills in speaking and writing test scoring; directly practice, exchange experiences, form unity in assessing foreign language proficiency, improve professional skills; build an increasingly professional and modern foreign language testing team, contributing to improving the quality of foreign language teaching and learning in military academies and schools.
