Suddenly picked up 37 million VND pushed out from the ATM

Previously, on the afternoon of June 24, Ward 1 Police, Bao Loc City received the above amount of money from Mr. Do Thanh Nhon (residing in Ward 1, Bao Loc City) to hand over, and at the same time requested the police force to find the owner of this money to return it.

Mr. Do Thanh Nhon handed over 37 million VND found from the ATM to the police.

According to Mr. Nhon, when he pressed the command to transfer cash into his account, he heard the ATM counting and then paying out money. Because the money was not his, Mr. Nhon brought the money to the police station to hand it over.

Mr. Nhon said that before he entered the ATM to make a transaction, a girl around 25-30 years old came out of this ATM. Mr. Nhon had just pressed the command to deposit money into the ATM when 37 million VND was released from this ATM while the money he had deposited was still in his hand.

Police force went to the bank to verify

According to a representative of the Military Bank branch in Bao Loc City, the bank's ATM has a service of depositing cash directly into the account without having to go to the bank counter. When depositing money, customers choose to make a transaction without using a card, then follow the instructions on the ATM screen.

Since the service was launched, this is the first time a customer has received money from an ATM that has gone to deposit money. According to a representative of MBBank , the bank has not received any reports of cash deposits at faulty ATMs.
