Brian Campbell wins the 2025 John Deere Classic golf tournament

(Dan Tri) - After passing the play-off round, American golfer Brian Campbell won the John Deere Classic. The tournament ended early morning on July 7 (Vietnam time).

On the final day, Brian Campbell had a total score of -18 strokes, equal to Argentine golfer Emiliano Grillo.

This result forced the two golfers to compete in a play-off round. In this round, Brian Campbell took 4 strokes to get the ball into the hole, while Emiliano Grillo took 5 strokes to get the ball into the hole.

In the end, Brian Campbell won the championship, while Emiliano Grillo finished second in the tournament.

In T3 position (tied for 3rd place) are David Lipsky (USA) and Kevin Roy (USA), each with a total score of -17 strokes.

The remarkable thing about this year's tournament is that there are 6 golfers in T5 position, including Jacob Bridgeman, Max Homa, Matt Kuchar, Carson Young, Kurt Kitayama and Lucas Glover. All 6 golfers are Americans and have a total score of -16 strokes.

For champion Brian Campbell, this is only the second title on the PGA Tour (a prestigious golf tournament system for men, equivalent to the Masters tournaments in tennis) in his career.

Both of Campbell's PGA Tour titles came this year. Before that, Brian Campbell was a golfer who grew up in the student golf movement.
