Manchester United legends arrive in Da Nang, kicking off the 2025 Vietnam - England football festival

(PLVN) - Two famous former players of Manchester United and English football, Wes Brown, Teddy Sheringham, and 12 young players arrived in Da Nang City on the evening of June 25, opening a series of sports exchange activities within the framework of the Vietnam - UK Football Festival 2025.

The first stop for the legends was Furama Resort Danang , the resort chosen as the official accommodation for the festival attendees.

Immediately after landing, the delegation was warmly welcomed, demonstrating the hospitality and professionalism of the organizing committee.

Manchester United star Wes Brown has arrived in Da Nang.

Teddy Sheringham officially arrived in Da Nang city.

Within the framework of the festival, football legends including Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Michael Owen, Dwight Yorke, Teddy Sheringham and Wes Brown will join forces with young players and the Vietnamese representative team including Do Duy Manh, Nguyen Hoang Duc, Nguyen Hai Long, Nguyen Van Vi... in the highlight match taking place on June 27 at Hoa Xuan Stadium, Da Nang City.

Two Mu legends were warmly welcomed by fans.

Before that, on June 26, fans will have the opportunity to interact directly with their idols at the event “Da Nang Downtown The Red Dream Fan Fest”. After the match, the series of activities will continue with the program “The Red Dream Fan Zone” on June 28, including Meet & Greet activities, pickleball competitions and community volunteer programs.

In particular, on June 26, Furama Resort Danang will continue to welcome the remaining four legendary names of Manchester United including Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Michael Owen and Dwight Yorke, completing the legendary lineup attending the festival.

The Vietnam - UK Football Festival 2025 takes place from June 26 to 29.
