Due to the storm's influence, in Bach Long Vi there were strong winds of level 8, gusts of level 9 ; in Co To there were strong winds of level 6, gusts of level 8 ; in the coastal area of Quang Ninh - Hai Phong there were gusts of level 6-7 .
At 4:00 a.m. , the center of the storm was at approximately 22.0°N – 107.6°E , in the southern area of Guangxi province (China) .
The strongest wind near the storm center is level 8 (62-74 km/h) , gusting to level 10 .
The storm is moving in a West Northwest direction at a speed of about 20 km/hour .
