The square - park project on the east side of Hoan Kiem Lake has a total area of ​​about 2.14 hectares, bordering Hoan Kiem Lake and Dinh Tien Hoang Street to the West; bordering the existing residential area to the North; bordering Ly Thai To Street to the East; and bordering Tran Nguyen Han Street to the South.

The project is being studied in the direction of being divided into two phases. In phase 1, the investor will compensate, support, and resettle house and land users within the area of ​​over 21,000 m2 to implement the investment project to build the TOD area (Transport-integrated Urban Development) east of Hoan Kiem Lake.

The renovated area east of Hoan Kiem Lake currently has 47 land users, including 12 organizations, agencies and 35 households.

The Hoan Kiem Ward Investment - Infrastructure Project Management Board has just invited people subject to compensation, support, resettlement and site clearance for the TOD Square - Park construction investment project east of Hoan Kiem Lake to check the land funds and resettlement housing funds in Viet Hung Ward and Dong Anh Commune, Hanoi .

Sharing with the press, some households whose land was cleared for the park east of Hoan Kiem Lake said that moving to a new place was their family’s wish for many years. Living in an open space like now is a clear difference compared to the cramped conditions in the old quarter.
