On February 19, the Phu Tho Provincial Senior Journalists Club held a meeting to mark the beginning of the Spring of At Ty 2025. Attending the meeting were leaders of the Provincial Journalists Association, retired journalists and members of the Provincial Journalists Association through the periods.

Journalist Nguyen Thi Tuyet Chinh - Vice President of the Provincial Journalists Association awarded Certificates of Merit to two senior journalists for their outstanding achievements in building the association and participating in journalism, literary and artistic activities in 2024.

The Provincial Senior Journalists Club was established in 2012. Up to now, the number of members is nearly 60. In recent times, despite their advanced age, the members have actively participated in social activities, researched and created many quality journalistic, literary and artistic works, published in media agencies and newspapers. In addition, the Club also maintains many useful activities to encourage the spirit of senior journalists to live happily and healthily; it is a common home for senior journalists always filled with the warmth of comradeship, colleagues, humanity and life.

The Club's Board of Directors presented flowers to congratulate the new Chairman of the Provincial Senior Journalists Club on his new assignment.

In 2025, the Provincial Senior Journalists Club will continue to maintain and promote activities according to regulations, closely coordinate with local press agencies; actively participate in Press Awards and writing competitions organized by the Vietnam Journalists Association in coordination with Central Committees and Branches.

The club presented flowers to celebrate the longevity of 9 elderly members.

At the meeting, the Senior Journalists Club celebrated the longevity of 9 members aged 85, 80, 75 and 70. The Provincial Journalists Association awarded Certificates of Merit to 2 comrades: Nguyen Dac Sinh - Former Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Former Editor-in-Chief of Phu Tho Newspaper, Former Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association; Do Quoc Long - Former Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Phu Tho Newspaper for his outstanding achievements in building the association's organization and participating in journalism, literary and artistic activities that were highly appreciated by readers and the public.

Leaders of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association presented flowers to celebrate the longevity of 9 elderly members

The Club agreed to let comrade Nguyen Dac Sinh resign from the position of Chairman of the Provincial Senior Journalists Club due to his old age and elected comrade Do Ngoc Long - Former Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Phu Tho Newspaper as Chairman of the Club.

Leaders of the Provincial Journalists Association and press agencies in the province presented flowers of congratulations and hoped that members would continue to unite and actively participate in activities contributing to the common movement of the Provincial Journalists Association.
