Born in 1983, originally from Nam Dinh , but fate has tied Ms. Thuy's life to the land and people of Cao Phong commune. Witnessing the hardships of the mountainous people, especially ethnic minorities whose lives depend on orange trees, she nurtured the idea of renewing production thinking. In 2016, she founded the Thanh Thuy Citrus Production Group, initially with only a few members but with a great aspiration: Developing safe agriculture. By 2018, 3T Farm Cooperative was born with the motto "Clean from the land - Green from the heart". As Director, Ms. Thuy resolutely eliminated herbicides, minimized plant protection chemicals, and replaced them with organic fertilizers, biological products and natural herbs.
It is this pioneering work that has helped the Cao Phong orange products of 3T Cooperative to be increasingly accepted by the market. In 2019, all members of the Cooperative produced according to VietGAP standards. The product "3T Farm Gift Orange" achieved 3-star OCOP and only one year later was upgraded to 4-star - becoming a typical, distinctive brand of the province.
Ms. Vu Thi Le Thuy, Director of 3T Farm Cooperative (3rd from left) is a typical example of the province's progress in the 2020 - 2025 period with the model "3T organic oranges associated with the organic production chain for a green living environment".
Not stopping at fresh oranges, Ms. Thuy and the Cooperative have researched and diversified products such as: Orange jam, detox tea, orange powder, orange wine, orange essential oil... By the end of 2023, 3T Farm had 6 processed product lines, helping the Cooperative maintain year-round production and increase the value of agricultural products.
In particular, in 2023, Cao Phong oranges were exported to the UK market for the first time - an important milestone affirming the Vietnamese orange brand on the international agricultural map. Along with that, the Cooperative has boldly developed a model combining organic production with experiential tourism , attracting tourists to visit and enjoy products in the garden, contributing to promoting the Cao Phong orange brand.
To date, 3T Farm Cooperative has 15 members, managing over 20 hectares of oranges, with revenue reaching nearly 2 billion VND in 2024. 3T orange products are not only present at major conferences and seminars but are also available in many clean food stores across the country.
Besides doing business, Ms. Vu Thi Le Thuy always believes that "success is not only about profit but also about sharing". In 2018, she and the ASEAN Business Club built a "Zero Dong Store" in Dung Phong commune, helping the poor have a place to receive support. During the Covid-19 pandemic, she donated hundreds of kilograms of oranges, lemons, and lemongrass to frontline forces and supported the epidemic prevention fund.
In recent years, she has continuously participated in charity activities to support flood victims, support people affected by typhoon Yagi , give gifts to poor students, and mobilize to help patients in difficult circumstances... These practical actions have spread the image of a compassionate female director, linking collective interests with social responsibility.
With her tireless efforts, Ms. Vu Thi Le Thuy has received many Certificates of Merit from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Provincial People's Committee and mass organizations. In particular, the project "3T Farm Gift Oranges" is in the top 35 outstanding projects out of more than 740 projects of the contest "Women and the future of the green economy" organized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union. From organic oranges, Ms. Thuy not only increases economic value, creates jobs for dozens of workers, but also spreads the message of green agricultural production, for community health, for a sustainable environment. On that journey, she has affirmed her role as a typical advanced model in the period 2020 - 2025 of Phu Tho province with the model "3T Farm Gift Oranges associated with the organic production chain for a green living environment", contributing to realizing the aspiration of building her hometown into a clean, livable and environmentally friendly agricultural destination.
