Ben Tre boy signs contract with Korean idol company

Dang Hong Hai, 20 years old, from Ben Tre , became an exclusive artist of an idol management company in Gangnam, Seoul.

On October 26, Dongyo Entertainment announced: "We have signed an exclusive contract with Dang Hong Hai, a former Boys Planet contestant. After seeing Hai's youthful energy and passion, we plan to provide all our support to develop his abilities in the future."

Before becoming a member of Dongyo Entertainment, Dang Hong Hai trained at Fantagio company.   for three years. He currently has many fanpages created by Vietnamese fans, attracting tens of thousands of likes. Earlier this year, he participated in the reality show Boys Planet on Mnet (Korea). The show gathered 98 contestants, he stopped in the top 28.

Dongyo Entertainment was founded in 2014, managing artists such as DKZ, NINE to SIX, Jae Chan.   On social networks, many Vietnamese and Korean fans hope that the artist will soon be released by the company in a new project.

Dang Hong Hai put his high school studies on hold and went to Korea more than three years ago to pursue his dream of becoming an idol. The singer is 1.8 meters tall, has a handsome face, and competed in The Voice Kids 2016, on Dong Nhi's team. While still in Vietnam, Hong Hai passed the entrance exam to Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted (HCMC). He can communicate in English and Korean.

Before Hong Hai, Ngo Ngoc Hung (22 years old, from Yen Bai ) debuted in the idol group TEMPEST (managed by Yuehua Entertainment).
