Up to now, the Women's Union at all levels in the province has mobilized support for over 2,800 households to build hygienic toilets; over 2,800 households to implement clean water projects. Thereby, contributing at least 10% to the results of implementing the National Strategy on clean water and rural environmental sanitation; effectively implementing the National Target Program on building new rural areas and civilized urban areas, successfully implementing the socio-economic development tasks of the locality.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Hang, resident of Vinh Hoa 1 hamlet, Vinh Hanh commune, shared: “Thanks to the propaganda and mobilization of the Commune Women's Union, not only me, but now, almost every household is aware of keeping public hygiene, taking care of flowers in front of the house, and joining hands to build the rural roads greener - cleaner - more beautiful. Hopefully, flower roads like this will be replicated more to create a more beautiful landscape for the countryside.”

Identifying supporting women members to develop the economy as one of the key tasks, the Women's Union at all levels in the province has actively exploited resources to support women in economic development, job creation and income increase. Many capital support models have been deployed, supporting 50,000 women to invest in livestock and crop farming, expand production and business, and develop the economy. Along with that, the unions at all levels coordinated to organize 34 training courses on transferring science and technology, restructuring crops, livestock, knowledge of starting a business and using capital, vocational training, and job creation.

“Every year, the Commune Women's Union proactively reviews the number of members, poor women and poor households headed by women, and develops plans to help women escape poverty with specific, practical actions suitable to each person's circumstances. At the same time, we focus on supporting knowledge, creating jobs, and mobilizing women members to establish cooperatives and consume locally available products, especially products produced and owned by women,” said Nguyen Thi Anh Nguyet, Chairwoman of the Vinh An Commune Women's Union.
