When commune officials and residents arrived at the scene, the fire was already burning. The People's Committee of the commune mobilized forces to be present at the scene and used on-site equipment to put out the fire such as: Fire extinguishers, water hoses, buckets, basins... while waiting for the fire department to arrive.

At 10:30, firefighters arrived at the scene and took action, and by 11:30 the fire was completely extinguished.
