On March 18, Mr. Huynh Tan Quang, Director of the Land Fund Development Center of Da Nang City, said that there was an announcement to lease land for the Son Tra night market at the location of land lots A2-4 and A2-5 with a starting price of just over 260,000 VND/ ^m2 /year.

Previously, on March 14, the People's Committee of Da Nang City approved the starting price for short-term land lease to organize Son Tra night market. The total land area is more than ^3,800m2 . Land area A2-4 is more than ^2,200m2 wide with a starting price for short-term land lease of 261,240 VND/ ^m2 /year.

Land plot A2-5 has an area of ​​over 1,608 ^m2 with a starting price for short-term land lease of 273,680 VND/ ^m2 /year. The lease term is 3 years for the purpose of building Son Tra night market.

In which, the lessee must ensure conditions such as having the capacity and experience in investing in managing night markets or similar products and services, and committing to arrange business locations for small traders (about 190 small traders) currently doing business at Son Tra night market and having signed contracts with DHTC Da Nang Joint Stock Company.

At the same time, demonstrate sufficient financial capacity to invest in Son Tra Night Market.

Previously, as Tuoi Tre Online reported, Son Tra night market opened in September 2018 and quickly became a tourist destination, attracting a large number of visitors located right east of Dragon Bridge.

This night market has a total investment of 4.2 billion VND following the model of a walking street, shopping street with over 150 booths, including food stalls, souvenirs, handicrafts, jewelry, fashion , handbags...

By March 2024, the pilot period will end, and Son Tra district will look for a location for the Son Tra night market. However, after that, considering that the current location can still meet the needs, it will keep the old location and not change the location as previously proposed.

Recently, in this investment, we will carry out auction plans for leasing premises for a limited period at the locations.
