Chairman Daniel Levy suddenly leaves Tottenham

Daniel Levy leaves Tottenham after 25 years.

Tottenham's home page has officially announced that chairman Levy will no longer be associated with the team in the near future.

Daniel Levy said: "I am incredibly proud of the work I have done with the board and staff. We have built this club into a global force, competing at the highest level. More than that, we have built a community. I have been fortunate to work with some of the best people in the game , from the team at Lilywhite House and Hotspur Way to all the players and coaches over the years.

I would like to thank all the fans who have supported me over the years. The journey has not always been easy, but there has been significant progress. I will continue to support this club passionately."

Tottenham have enjoyed a successful reign under chairman Daniel Levy. In the last 20 seasons, Spurs have participated in European cups 18 times. Tottenham reached the Champions League final in 2019 and won the Europa League in 2025. The London club also competed for the Premier League title.

The club has made a number of senior appointments in recent months. Vinai Venkatesham has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Thomas Frank as the new men's head coach and Martin Ho as the women's head coach. Peter Charrington has joined the board and will take on the role of Chairman.

Peter Charrington, Tottenham's new Chairman, said: "I am honoured to become Chairman of this extraordinary Club and on behalf of the Board I would like to thank Daniel and his family for their commitment and loyalty to the Club over many years.

This is a new era of leadership for the club, both on and off the pitch. I have seen a lot of change in recent months as we lay new foundations for the future. We are now fully focused on stabilising and empowering our talented people across the Club, under the leadership of Vinai and his executive team."
