The Central Inspection Committee disciplined the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Confederation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) for the 2015-2020 term, VCCI President Pham Tan Cong and a number of subordinate leaders.
According to the Press Release of the 50th Session of the Central Inspection Commission (CICC), from November 11 to 13, 2024, in Hanoi, the 50th Session of the Central Inspection Commission was held. Mr. Tran Cam Tu, Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat, Chairman of the CICC chaired the Session. At this Session, the CICC reviewed and concluded a number of contents.
In particular, implementing the conclusion of the Central Inspection Commission at the 48th Session on the Party Delegation, Party Delegation Secretary, President of the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry and a number of related Party organizations and Party members; based on the Party's regulations, the Central Inspection Commission decided to take disciplinary action:
Reprimand: Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry for the 2015-2020 term and individuals: Pham Tan Cong , Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman; Hoang Quang Phong , Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Chairman; Party Committee members, Vice Chairmen: Vo Tan Thanh , Bui Trung Nghia ; Phan Hong Giang , Party Committee member, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Head of the Party Committee's Organization Committee, Deputy Secretary General, Chief of the Party Committee's Office, Head of the Organization - Personnel Committee of the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry.
The Central Inspection Commission has decided to discipline eight party organizations and four other party members involved.
The Central Inspection Commission proposed that competent authorities consider and discipline the Party Delegation of the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry for the 2015-2020 and 2021-2026 terms.
