
The program is an important cultural and artistic highlight within the framework of the National Achievements Exhibition with the theme "80 Years of Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" and a series of events celebrating the 80th anniversary of National Day September 2, contributing to honoring the outstanding achievements that the country and the capital Hanoi have achieved during the 80 years of formation and development.

Attending the program were Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong; Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee for the National Achievement Exhibition Vu Thu Ha; Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Council Pham Qui Tien; Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Council, Deputy Head of the Hanoi National Assembly Delegation Pham Thi Thanh Mai.
Attending the program were representatives of provinces and cities; representatives of leaders of central ministries and branches; leaders of departments, branches, unions and communes and wards of Hanoi city, along with a large number of audiences and tourists.
Honoring the outstanding achievements of the Capital and the country

The special art program “Hanoi – Forever the Aspiration of Vietnam” is a profound gratitude to the previous generations - those who have sacrificed their youth and blood for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland. At the same time, the program honors the outstanding, comprehensive and sustainable achievements that the country in general and the capital Hanoi in particular have achieved, especially after 40 years of renovation.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Vu Thu Ha emphasized that within the framework of the National Achievements Exhibition "80 Years of Independence - Freedom - Happiness Journey", Hanoi introduced the Exhibition Space "Capital's Socio -Economic Achievements" with the theme "Cultural and heroic capital Hanoi - 80 years of journey with the country" and the Space "Hanoi Tradition and Creativity 2025" to promote achievements in culture, tourism, creative industry - key fields in the capital's economic pillars; display handicraft products, technology, high industry, ornamental plants and perform craft villages, cuisine, and experience traditional culture.
According to comrade Vu Thu Ha, along with two exhibition and display spaces, the special art program "Hanoi - Forever the aspiration of Vietnam" hopes to let the audience, people and tourists immerse themselves in the historical moment of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 of the nation, to feel more deeply a resilient, indomitable but still gallant and elegant Hanoi; a Hanoi that together with the whole country realizes the goal of making Vietnam develop strongly, prosperously and happily.
Feeling Hanoi - civilized, heroic, humane

With the theme of “the aspiration for development for a strong, prosperous and happy Vietnam”, the special art program “Hanoi - Forever the aspiration of Vietnam” takes the audience back to the heroic historical moments of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, 1945. Thereby, the program also realistically depicts an innovative, dynamic and integrated Hanoi - the Capital of a thousand years of culture, City for Peace, Creative City.
The program included a solemn flag-raising and flag-raising ceremony, along with a heroic national anthem performance with the participation of singers, more than 2,000 artists, actors and the harmony of a large audience, creating a sacred atmosphere, arousing the spirit of independence and national unity.

“Hanoi – Forever the Aspiration of Vietnam” takes the audience through three elaborately staged chapters with music and dance performances, stage scenes, historical documentary images, combined with modern technology projection such as 3D mapping, multi-level stage combined with laser effects...
Chapter I “Day, month, year…” recalls an unforgettable time in Hanoi – the heroic years that have gone down in the history of the nation. It was a majestic and indomitable Hanoi, a steadfast Capital through the bombs and bullets of war, associated with fierce but full of love years. Despite experiencing great loss and sacrifice, the hearts and souls of Hanoians are always lit by love for their homeland, faith in tomorrow and the very unique romantic beauty of a city of a thousand years of civilization.

Chapter II “Hanoi in Whose Eyes” depicts a very elegant Hanoi, full of cultural identity and elegant Hanoians, who love beauty and humanity. It is a Hanoi to love, through the story of a very Hanoian character - the banyan tree on the street corner. Through many seasons of changing leaves, many changes of the times, the banyan tree is like a witness, a storyteller about Hanoi, about love in this city and through those stories, the portrait of a Hanoi appears vivid, romantic and touching.
Chapter III “Hanoi - The Heart of Vietnam Rising” opens a picture of a city that is bursting with new vitality. Hanoi - the political, economic and cultural center of the country, not only grows rapidly, but also affirms its ability to integrate. Joining hands with 33 other provinces and cities, Hanoi contributes to building Vietnam into a strong economic nation, a stable political position and above all, a peace-loving nation, aiming for the common prosperity of humanity.

During the program, the audience enjoyed many revolutionary songs, songs about the homeland, the country and praising Hanoi such as: "Vietnamese Spirit", "August Nineteen", "You are Ho Chi Minh", "Hanoi People", "Will Return to the Capital", "Marching to Hanoi", "Hanoi Days and Months", "Continuing the Story of Peace", "Remembering Hanoi's Autumn", "Hanoi on the Day of Return", "Hanoi Windy Night", "Remembering Hanoi", "Are You Hanoi's Autumn", "Hanoi 12 Seasons of Flowers", "Peach Blossoms", "Hanoi Xam", "Hanoi, Faith and Hope", "Hanoi Sacred and Gallant", "Vietnam in Me", "A Country Full of Joy", "Spring Melody"...

The works were performed emotionally and attractively by People's Artist Thu Huyen, Meritorious Artist Dang Duong; singers Dong Hung, Anh Tu, Lam Bao Ngoc, Ngoc Anh, Do To Hoa, Oplus group, Ram C, An Thu An, Ha Trang, Huyen Trang, Hau Tran, Thanh Tung; with the participation of saxophone artists Hoang Tung, violinist Huyen Anh, pianist Trung Duc and a choir of nearly 2,000 people.


The highlight was the artistic paragliding performance carrying the national flag in the sky of Hanoi Capital, a symbol of the aspiration for independence, freedom and peace. The brilliant artistic fireworks display, combined with music, created a sparkling, emotional picture for the program.


The art program “Hanoi – Forever shining Vietnamese aspiration” contributes to honoring the national spirit, depicting the beauty of Hanoi, steadfast and gallant, and at the same time spreading the aspiration for a prosperous and bright future of the country.
