SHB Da Nang Club wants to change the stadium for the play-off match for the V-League

(Dan Tri) - The play-off match for a ticket to the V-League 2025-2026 between SHB Da Nang and Binh Phuoc is scheduled to take place at Thong Nhat Stadium (HCMC) on June 27. However, SHB Da Nang wants to move the venue.

Previously, VPF announced that the play-off match would be held at Thong Nhat Stadium, in case a Central team faces a Southern team. In case a Central team faces a Northern team, the play-off match would take place at Vinh Stadium ( Nghe An ).

Currently, the identities of the two teams participating in the V-League play-off match have been determined, including Binh Phuoc (Southern region) andSHB Da Nang (Central region), so this match will take place at Thong Nhat Stadium.

However, SHB Da Nang has a different opinion. Coach Le Duc Tuan of the Han River team said: "I think playing at Thong Nhat Stadium will be geographically beneficial for the Southern team. In my opinion, if the play-off match takes place at Quy Nhon Stadium or Nha Trang Stadium, it will be more reasonable."

SHB Da Nang said they also sent a document to VPF, requesting to move this match to one of the two football fields in the South Central region mentioned above.

According to the Han River team, if the play-off match takes place at Thong Nhat Stadium, Binh Phuoc team will have an advantage in terms of spectators. The Southern team will welcome a large number of fans from their hometown to Ho Chi Minh City to watch the match.

The match between SHB Da Nang and Binh Phuoc is the match that determines the last place to participate in the V-League season. The remaining 13 places to participate in this tournament have been taken.
