Binh Duong Psychiatric Hospital is located on a 4-frontage land plot in Binh Duong ward, Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Phu Chanh ward, Tan Uyen city, Binh Duong).

The hospital is divided into 2 areas with about 4 floors, hundreds of patient rooms. When the Covid-19 epidemic broke out in the 4th wave, this place was used to treat Covid-19 patients on the 3rd floor.
After 7 years of completion but not put into use, the hospital has become dilapidated and overgrown with grass.

The fire cabinet inside the hospital is rusty and has no hose.

According to the male security guard at the hospital, a thief broke in and stole things before, so currently they don't let strangers inside.

All side gates are carefully locked to prevent strangers from entering the hospital.

The air conditioner was installed to serve the patient rooms but has not been used.

Opposite Binh Duong Psychiatric Hospital is the Tuberculosis and Lung Hospital, which has also received an investment of hundreds of billions of dong, but only a part of it is used for the Tuberculosis Infectious Diseases Department of Binh Duong General Hospital.

Due to underutilization, the hospital is in disrepair.

Previously, on the afternoon of October 9, at a press conference providing information on socio -economic issues of Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Nguyen Hai Nam, acting Chief of Office, Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health, said that the Department of Health had proposed the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee to approve the policy of repairing the Mental Hospital and Binh Duong Tuberculosis and Lung Hospital to put them into operation after many years of abandonment (Photo: Pham Dien).
