At around 1am the same day, the Emergency Department - Quang Nam General Hospital received 7 victims with multiple injuries due to traffic accidents. Immediately after receiving them, the hospital activated the red alert to promptly provide emergency treatment to the victims.

The list of victims includes: Dinh Thi An Nh. (11 months old), Dinh Bdap R. (18 months old), Dinh Y R. (6 years old), Dinh Van Ph. (33 years old), Hngui B. (35 years old), Dinh Dong D. (37 years old) and Dinh Thi Tr. (40 years old, all from Son Ha commune, Quang Ngai province).
Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Van Khoa, Deputy Director in charge of Quang Nam General Hospital, said that among the 7 victims, the patient born in 2024, only 11 months old, suffered multiple traumas, including severe traumatic brain injury that required surgery. The patient had suffered cardiac arrest twice and was treated by doctors. His heart has now started beating again, but his prognosis is very serious.

“In addition, there were 2 cases of severe trauma that had surgery and are now stable, the remaining cases with multiple injuries had surgery and are stable. At around 6 a.m. the same day, the leaders of the Da Nang City Department of Health directed Quang Nam General Hospital to focus on treating the victims,” said Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Van Khoa.
According to Quang Nam General Hospital, the victims were all ethnic minorities from two families residing in Son Ha commune (Da Nang city) on the same bus departing from Quang Ngai province to Da Nang city. While on Vo Chi Cong street, passing through Tam Anh commune, the accident unfortunately occurred.
Currently, the victims are receiving intensive care at Quang Nam General Hospital.
