Da Nang police strive to issue ID cards to people after the merger

At the headquarters of the Police Department for Administrative Management of Social Order (QLHC ve TTXH) of Da Nang City Police (183 Phan Dang Luu, Hoa Cuong Ward) this morning, July 8, many people came early to register for ID cards and level 2 electronic identification.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Ha The Xuyen, Head of the Administrative Police Department of Social Order of Da Nang City Police, after the new Da Nang city was established on the basis of merging Quang Nam province and Da Nang city, the unit proactively took working measures, urgently directed the forces to quickly arrange and set up 25 points to receive people to handle administrative procedures in the field of issuing ID cards and electronic identification accounts in the city.

The number of staff of the Social Order Administrative Police Department includes 193 people, and the leaders of Da Nang City Police pay attention to and create favorable conditions for arranging an independent, spacious working headquarters, with a full and modern system of machinery to serve the work.

Present at the Hoi An Ward Police reception point (No. 6 Ngo Gia Tu, Hoi An Ward) early in the morning of July 8 to register for an ID card for his child, Mr. Nguyen Van Tien - a resident of Hoi An Ward said: "My household registration is in Cam Pho Ward, formerly part of Hoi An City. After Hoi An Ward was established, I was guided to the ward police headquarters to do the relevant paperwork."

According to Mr. Tien, although the number of people coming to transact was very large, the police force still guided enthusiastically and the paperwork was also processed quickly.

Captain Le Quang Nam - Regional Police, Hoi An Ward Police said, immediately after taking up work in the new Hoi An Ward, the Hoi An Ward Police force urgently started working, preparing all procedures and equipment to promptly respond to the work of serving the people.

According to Captain Le Quang Nam, despite the difficulties in the early period after the merger, the Hoi An Ward Police force worked with a spirit of urgency and high concentration, day and night to overcome difficulties, complete work, ensure people have convenient access to public services and timely completion of paperwork as needed.

From July 1 to now, Da Nang City Police have received a total of 1,568 ID card records and 1,002 level 2 electronic identification records.
