On the morning of June 12, information from Long An Provincial Police, the unit issued a decision to search for 3 defense lawyers for the defendants in the case of Tinh That Bong Lai including: Nguyen Van Mieng (born 1966), residing in Truong Tho ward, Thu Duc city, Ho Chi Minh city; Dao Kim Lan (born 1967), residing in ward 9, district 6, Ho Chi Minh city and Dang Dinh Manh (born 1968), residing in ward 15, Phu Nhuan district, Ho Chi Minh city

According to Long An Police, based on the announcement of the Department of Cyber ​​Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention of the Ministry of Public Security on the discovery and reporting to Long An Provincial Police that the above 3 people had acts of spreading on the internet through video clips images, words, and articles with signs of crimes of abusing democratic freedoms to infringe upon the interests of the State, the rights and legitimate interests of organizations and individuals according to Article 331 of the Penal Code 2015, amended and supplemented in 2017.

The Long An Provincial Police Department investigated and verified the above report and sent summons many times to the above 3 people, but they did not come to work and did not give a reason for their absence.

Through verification, the police of the ward where the subjects reside and their relatives confirmed that the subjects are currently not present in the locality, where they are going, what they are doing is unknown and they cannot be contacted. Therefore, the Long An Provincial Police Department has issued a decision to search for the above subjects to serve the work of handling crime reports.
