Ho Chi Minh City Police won their 6th consecutive match at the national volleyball tournament.

On the evening of October 7, the Ho Chi Minh City Police team continued to demonstrate their overwhelming strength with a victory over Da Nang at the 2025 National Volleyball Championship.

In the first phase, Ho Chi Minh City Police and Border Guard are the two teams with a record of winning all 5 matches. Therefore, it is easy to see who are the two candidates for this year's championship.

Entering phase 2, Ho Chi Minh City Police clearly demonstrated their determination by continuing to recruit two quality athletes, Michal Kubiak (Poland) and Luka Tadic (Serbia).

They showed their early superiority when they quickly dominated the game and easily won 25-16 in set 1. In set 2, Quan Trong Nghia and his teammates continued to maintain their consistency to win 25-21.

It was not until the third set that Da Nang showed a new style of play with effort and perseverance. The Central team's style of play had many new points, causing many surprises. But then as the match progressed towards the end, the gap in skill level between the two teams became more and more evident.

Despite facing difficulties, Ho Chi Minh City Police still stood firm and won a dramatic victory 27-25, ending the match after 3 sets.

With this result, Ho Chi Minh City Police officially entered the top 4 of the men's category of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship and will participate in the semi-finals. In the remaining match on October 7, The Cong defeated the runner-up Sanest Khanh Hoa 3-0 to consolidate their position in the top 4.

Meanwhile, in the women's category, Duc Giang Lao Cai Chemicals defeated Long Son Thanh Hoa Cement 3-0 to maintain a slim hope of reaching the semi-finals.
