The opening match of the 2nd stage of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship is the women's match between Vietinbank and Geleximco Hung Yen. The predecessor of Geleximco Hung Yen is Geleximco Thai Binh and in the first stage they still used this name.

That is because in the first phase, Geleximco Hung Yen only won 1 match against the weakest team in the tournament, Ho Chi Minh City. The rest, they lost all 4 matches and ranked second to last.

On the contrary, Vietinbank is having a surprising start with 3 wins, 2 losses and entering the top 4, the position reserved for the championship teams. In the second phase, both teams have made notable personnel additions and the match promises to bring many emotions.

At 2:30 p.m., the men's match between the former king Sanest Khanh Hoa and The Cong Tan Cang. The coastal team has now lost its position as a series of key players have left, and it is unlikely that it will be able to surprise The Cong.
