Vingroup subsidiary reports record profit 58 times higher

A subsidiary of Vingroup Corporation reported large profits after the first 9 months of 2025.

Vietnam Exhibition Fair Center Joint Stock Company (stock code VEF) has just announced its third quarter 2025 financial report with a profit after tax of VND 167.7 billion, double the same period last year. The company said that the increase in profit was mainly due to increased financial revenue. In total, after the first 9 months of 2025, the company had a profit after tax of more than VND 15,418 billion, 58 times higher than the same period last year. This is a subsidiary of Vingroup when this group is holding 83.32% of capital.

With this record profit, the company also continuously pays huge dividends. Today, October 22, is the ex-dividend date to make a list of shareholders to receive cash dividends of up to 330%, equivalent to 33,000 VND per share. The source of payment is taken from the accumulated profit of more than 10,350 billion VND as of June 30, 2025. With more than 166.6 million shares in circulation, VEF plans to spend nearly 5,500 billion VND to advance dividends this time.

In July, this company also spent more than VND 7,200 billion to pay dividends for 2024 and advance dividends for 2025 at a rate of 435%, equivalent to VND 43,500 per share. This includes a dividend payment rate of 135% for 2024 and an advance dividend of 300% from after-tax profit in the first quarter of 2025. The company has paid a total of VND 7,247 billion in dividends. Specifically, Vingroup Corporation is estimated to receive VND 6,038 billion, followed by the major shareholder, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, which owns 10% of shares, and can receive VND 725 billion.
