Three months ago, Pham Phuoc Hung could only watch the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) in Ho Chi Minh City via television and social media. With overflowing pride, the gymnast who won two World Cup Gold medals and seven SEA Games Gold medals secretly wished that he could be a part of the event.
And then surprisingly, Pham Phuoc Hung's dream came true. At the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), he was honored to be selected as one of the 10 outstanding faces of the sports industry to participate in the cultural and sports parade.
"For me, this is an incomparable pride," Pham Phuoc Hung shared with Tien Phong newspaper reporter, "A80 is a rare event, few people get to attend in their lifetime, it is both overwhelming in its grandeur and ignites patriotism and boiling enthusiasm."

Before the ceremony, 80 faces in the cultural and sports sector attended the reporting ceremony at President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and received the Ho Chi Minh Badge. "It was a very sacred memory, an unforgettable mark not only in his career journey but also in his life," Pham Phuoc Hung recalled.
The former athlete born in 1988 also revealed that in the upcoming Anniversary Ceremony, he will also be able to contribute his voice to the final duet, along with famous artists such as rapper Den Vau, singer Hoa Minzy, Duc Phuc, singer Kieu Anh and the cast of the movie Red Rain .
Although singing is not his forte, the athlete, who has won more than 60 gold medals throughout his career, excitedly said: "I am very happy to be able to contribute a small part to the great national holiday. Personally, this is an imprint that I can remember and be proud of later. It is even more special when this imprint is created not with a forte in sports, but in another field."
Pham Phuoc Hung is also extremely happy to have the opportunity to meet and interact with top artists, whom he always admires.

"I have seen my fellow artists in the cultural and sports parade, including many famous stars, giving their all over the past few days. They are here, like me, for no other purpose than patriotism and pride. Every moment of experiencing this spirit and atmosphere is worth it for everyone."
The rehearsal on August 30 was a memorable memory for Pham Phuoc Hung, when he and the cultural and sports parade group gathered at 1 a.m., waited, then participated in the "cross-country run" to keep up with the program's timeline.
"There were days when it took the whole day, and there were days when we were there from midnight like on the rehearsal day. We were tired but everyone was happy, especially when we ran in the middle of the people, with everyone cheering and cheering. We were moved and extremely proud. It was truly an unforgettable experience.
Through this, I feel more deeply the responsibility of today's generation in building, protecting the Fatherland and cultivating peace. With my ability, I try to spread the spirit of 'Healthy to build and protect the Fatherland - Beautiful to shine and contribute' in the community", Pham Phuoc Hung shared.
