The congress attracted 500 athletes, representing the Party, government, Fatherland Front, mass organizations, residential groups, schools, units, agencies, and businesses in the ward, competing in many events, many age groups, with 8 events: Parade; tug of war; table tennis; badminton; football; athletics; folk dance; pickleball.

In his opening speech, Chairman of Linh Nam Ward People's Committee Nguyen Van Duc emphasized: The movement "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho" has become a cultural beauty, a great driving force to improve health and spirit, contributing to building a healthy and civilized cultural life in the locality.

The first Linh Nam Ward Sports Festival is a great festival for all people, an opportunity to evaluate the results of the mass sports movement; at the same time, discover and nurture outstanding sports talents, creating a source of athletes to participate in the City Sports Festival in the coming time.

Before the athletes entered the competition in many events, delegates and people watched many exciting activities: Mass gymnastics for the elderly, preschool rhythmic gymnastics, sports dancing, martial arts performances, and lion dance.

* On the same day, at Dai Kim Primary School, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dinh Cong Ward organized the 1st Dinh Cong Ward Sports Congress in 2025; welcoming the success of the 18th Hanoi City Party Congress, term 2025-2030.

The congress attracted more than 500 athletes from sports delegations of 37 residential groups, 11 schools and agencies and businesses in the ward, participating in 8 competitions with 35 events.

In his opening speech, Chairman of Dinh Cong Ward People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Anh emphasized that the first Dinh Cong Ward Sports Congress, leading up to the 11th Capital Sports Congress, marks a new development step of the grassroots sports movement in the context of the ward implementing a two-level local government model.

The congress aims to evaluate the mass sports movement of each residential group, agency and unit, and is also an opportunity to test and select athletes with high achievements, thereby establishing the ward's sports team to participate in the 11th Capital Sports Congress.
