National Economics University opens regular university course 67

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong, Director of the National Economics University, shared that after nearly 70 years of construction and development, the National Economics University has become a leading center for training, research and policy consulting in the country on economics, management and business administration.

Over the years, the school has continuously innovated its training programs, promoted scientific research, promoted digital transformation and expanded international cooperation, to provide students with a modern, dynamic and integrated learning environment.

Associate Professor Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong confided that the students of the 67th course entered university in a context where the world was undergoing profound and comprehensive changes, especially in digital technology , artificial intelligence and globalization.

Our country is facing new development opportunities with strategic decisions. In particular, Resolution 71 on breakthrough in education and training development, which has just been issued by the Politburo, continues to affirm that "Education and training is the top national policy, the key driving force for national development; the key for the country to rise up to be strong and prosperous".

Therefore, to succeed in their years of study at the National Economics University, new students need to study proactively and creatively; accumulate both basic and modern knowledge; train to become people with independent thinking, capable of analyzing, creating and solving practical problems of society.

In addition to solid professional knowledge, cultivate foreign languages, digital skills, communication skills and many other soft skills to become a global citizen.

Associate Professor Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong also noted that, in addition to studying in the classroom, students should actively participate in extracurricular activities; increase training and experience so that the years of studying at university become the most beautiful and memorable period of their youth.

At the ceremony, representing the new students of the 67th course, Tran Ngoc Tu Anh, majoring in E-commerce, shared that today's opening ceremony is probably the most special opening ceremony for her and her friends, as they have become new students of the National Economics University - one of the most prestigious universities in the country.

The new female student pledges to continuously learn to master knowledge, practice to improve herself and dedicate herself to contributing so that the 4 years at the National Economics University will be 4 years of effort and competition, enthusiasm, courage and readiness to create value.

In 2025, the total number of candidates admitted to the National Economics University is 8,858. Of these, 50% have an admission score of 27 points or higher; 21 have a perfect admission score of 30/30.

About 80% of the new students (nearly 7,000 students) have met the English output standards - this is the year with the highest rate of new students meeting English output standards. In the group that met, about 82% had IELTS 6.5 or higher.
