Responding to storm No. 10: Schools respond according to the '4 on-site' motto

On September 28, the Department of Education and Training of Ha Tinh province issued an official dispatch requesting localities and educational institutions to allow students of all levels in the province to take a day off on September 29. Depending on the developments of storms, floods and the actual situation of localities, educational institutions can consider extending the school break for students to an appropriate time to ensure safety.

Faced with the complicated developments of storm No. 10, the Ha Tinh education sector urgently deployed proactive prevention measures to ensure absolute safety for students, teachers and school facilities.

Immediately after receiving the directive from the Provincial People's Committee and the Department of Education and Training of Ha Tinh, educational institutions across the province activated their disaster prevention plans, reviewed the system of facilities, trees, signs, and degraded classrooms to take measures to reinforce and relocate, and minimize damage when the storm makes landfall.

Mr. Nguyen Hong Cuong, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ha Tinh, said: In the face of the complicated developments of storm No. 10, the Education sector has directed units and schools across the province to synchronously deploy response solutions according to the "4 on-site" motto (on-site command; on-site forces; on-site means and materials; on-site logistics), ensuring absolute safety for students, teachers, staff and employees.
