Quang Tri province lets students stay home on September 29 to avoid storm Bualoi

GD&TĐ - Due to the impact of storm Bualoi, all preschool children, students and trainees in Quang Tri province were given a day off on September 29.

On the morning of September 28, the Department of Education and Training of Quang Tri province announced that it had just issued an official dispatch to preschool, general education , and continuing education facilities in the whole province informing students and trainees to stay home from school to avoid storm Bualoi (storm No. 10).

The Department of Education and Training requests heads of units and schools to notify all preschool children, students and trainees in the province to stay home from school on September 29 (Monday).

Quickly check and review campus and facilities; if necessary, temporarily evacuate students, teachers and staff from areas at risk of landslides, flash floods and flash floods.

Organize cleaning of schools and classrooms, repair damage to facilities after the storm, ensure safety and hygiene before welcoming students back to school.

Closely monitor the developments of storm No. 10 and floods; promptly report natural disasters, damages, and incidents to the Department of Education and Training for timely direction and support.

Previously, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Tri province directed units to deploy response work for storm No. 10, to proactively prevent and respond promptly, ensuring absolute safety of people and property for students, teachers and staff in educational institutions in the face of the storm's complicated developments.
