The 8th Congress of Kim Bang Ward Veterans Association, term 2025 - 2030

On the morning of October 10, the Veterans Association of Kim Bang Ward held its 8th Congress for the 2025-2030 term. Attending the Congress were leaders of the Veterans Association of Ninh Binh Province; leaders of the Party, People's Committee of Kim Bang Ward and 131 outstanding delegates representing members of the Ward Veterans Association.

The Kim Bang Ward Veterans Association was established and put into operation from July 1, 2025 on the basis of merging the Veterans Associations of 3 wards and communes: Que, Ngoc Son and Van Xa. After its establishment, the Ward Veterans Association has 13 affiliated branches with 1,105 members. In the past term, the cadres and members of the Kim Bang Ward Veterans Association united and competed to promote the nature of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", overcoming all difficulties and striving to fully complete the targets and tasks for the 2022-2025 term. During the term, the Ward Veterans Association admitted 72 members (exceeding the target by 12%). The rate of members participating in activities reached 95% (exceeding the target by 5%). Every year, 100% of the branches achieve the title of "Strong Member", with no weak branches. Mobilizing 85% of local veterans to participate in activities at the Clubs. Maintaining no poor Veterans households; Completed the demolition of dilapidated, unsafe houses for members (100% achieved)...

In the new term 2025-2030, the Ward Veterans Association Congress set out the following main goals, tasks and targets: Strive to admit 98% of eligible subjects into the Association; membership participation rate reaches 98% or more. Strive to have 100% of branches complete their tasks well every year, with no weak branches; 18-20% of branches complete their tasks excellently; over 98% of families of War Veterans members meet the "Cultural Family" standard. Strive to mobilize over 80% of veterans present in the locality to participate in activities of the War Veterans and Veterans Club. Maintain no poor War Veterans member households; the rate of well-off and rich member households reaches 70% or more...

Speaking at the Congress, comrade Nguyen Nhu Phien - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Veterans Association, Vice President of the Provincial Veterans Association acknowledged and praised the achievements and results of the Kim Bang Ward Veterans Association in the past term. To promote the glorious revolutionary tradition and successfully implement the Congress resolution, he suggested that the Ward Veterans Association should strengthen the Party building work, political and ideological education for members. Innovate the content and methods of activities to attract members to participate. Closely coordinate with Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front and organizations, participate in building a clean and strong Party and government, maintain security and order, and educate the revolutionary tradition for the younger generation.

The Congress announced the decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and Inspection Committee of the Kim Bang Ward Veterans Association for the 8th term, 2025-2030 term. Comrade Nguyen Van Chuan was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Kim Bang Ward Veterans Association for the 2025-2030 term.
