The first congress of the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs of Quang Ninh Province

In order to continue spreading the tradition of "Repaying gratitude" and "When drinking water, remember its source", on October 13, in Ha Long ward, the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs of Quang Ninh province held its first Congress, term 2025-2030.

During the resistance wars to defend the Fatherland, Quang Ninh province had over 8,000 martyrs sacrificed on the battlefields, of which nearly 4,000 martyrs have not yet been found and brought back to their homeland. The province is also implementing subsidy policies for over 12,000 people with revolutionary contributions and beneficiaries according to Government regulations.

Established on August 22, 2025, with 70 official members, the Quang Ninh Province Martyrs' Families Support Association operates under the motto of "voluntary and affectionate", contributing to supporting martyrs' relatives in accessing policies, collecting information, supporting the identification of martyrs and helping martyrs' families in difficult circumstances.

The Executive Committee of the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs of Quang Ninh Province for the 2025-2030 term, introduced to the Congress.

The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs of Quang Ninh Province, term 2025-2030, with 15 comrades.

After the first meeting, the Executive Committee elected a Standing Committee of 7 members. In the 2025-2030 term, the Association strives to establish 54 branches in communes, wards and special zones in the province, with about 5,000-5,500 members.

Representatives of the Vietnam Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs presented gifts of gratitude to the martyrs' families.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs presented many gifts to express gratitude to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and relatives of martyrs in Quang Ninh; businesses and philanthropists presented support for activities of the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs in Quang Ninh province.
