Quang Minh Commune: 400 meritorious people received free medical examination, health consultation and medicine

On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), on July 23, Quang Minh commune organized medical examination, consultation, health care, and free medicine for 400 meritorious people in the area.

At the program, the medical team of Me Linh General Hospital and Quang Minh Commune Health Station organized medical examinations and health consultations for people with meritorious services, including: Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, relatives of martyrs; wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, revolutionary veterans, armed forces heroes, pre-uprising cadres, etc.

With a high sense of responsibility and the coordination of departments, offices, and professional units, the health examination and consultation program was carefully organized by Quang Minh commune. After the examination results, the meritorious people were consulted in detail about their health status, disease prevention methods, nutrition and scientific lifestyle, and were also given free medicine appropriate to their medical condition.

In particular, the elderly, sick, and those with difficulty moving are examined, given health advice, and given free medicine at home by doctors and nurses.

According to Vice Chairman of Quang Minh Commune People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan, the activities of medical examination, consultation and health care for people with meritorious services aim to propagate and educate revolutionary traditions, patriotism and national pride; demonstrating the care and concern of the Party Committee, government, unions, social organizations and people of Quang Minh Commune for war invalids, sick soldiers, relatives of martyrs and people with meritorious services to the revolution.
