Presenting a report on the contents related to the organization of the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Thanh Hoa province, Head of the Mass Mobilization Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Hoa province Pham Thi Thanh Thuy said that with the theme "Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Development", the 15th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Thanh Hoa province, term 2024-2029, proposed an Action Program with specific and feasible goals, tasks and solutions, closely following the title of the political report: "Promoting the core political role, building the great national unity bloc, practicing democracy, strengthening social consensus, for the goal of building a rich and civilized Thanh Hoa province".

Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Thuy presented contents related to the organization of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Fatherland Front Congress.

The Congress set out a number of specific targets such as: In 5 years, strive for the "For the Poor" Fund at all levels in the province to reach over 500 billion VND; renovate and repair 7,000 Great Solidarity houses for poor households, of which, in the two years 2024-2025, strive for the whole province to have at least 5,000 poor households, policy households, and households with housing difficulties to be supported to build and repair houses in the spirit of Directive No. 22-CT/TU of the Provincial Party Standing Committee; 100% of full-time Front officials, 100% of district-level Fatherland Front, 90% of commune-level Fatherland Front apply information technology in their activities...

Regarding the personnel at the Congress, Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Thuy said that it is expected that the Congress will consult and elect 125 members (an increase of 5 members compared to the previous term, increasing the structure of specialized staff of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, ensuring compliance with the instructions of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front). The re-election rate compared to the beginning of the term is 38.4%; the combined structure of non-party members is 23.2%; the percentage of women is 32%; ethnic minorities account for at least 16.8%; religious people account for at least 12.8%. It is expected that the 15th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Thanh Hoa province, term 2024-2029, will take place in 2 days, July 13-14, 2024, with 330 official delegates and 270 invited delegates.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman Nguyen Huu Dung emphasized that in the 2019-2024 term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Hoa province has implemented many positive and effective results, achieving many high achievements in the province, however, there are still some things that have not been fully reflected in the Political Report. The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Hoa province needs to study, select, and absorb comments from the departments and units of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the comments at the meeting to supplement the system of appendices and tables to illustrate more clearly the 5 action programs during the term, thereby completing the documents submitted to the Congress according to regulations and in accordance with local practices.

Along with that, it is necessary to supplement the content of propaganda on the Party's directives and resolutions, the State's policies and laws, the action programs of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, major holidays and anniversaries of the country, including the implementation of Resolution No. 43-NQ/TW of the Politburo on great national unity. Review, supplement, and deepen the major contents that the Front has implemented such as: summarizing 20 years of the Great National Unity Day; summarizing 10 years of implementing Decision 218 of the Politburo; work to prevent and combat corruption and negativity;...

Vice Chairman Nguyen Huu Dung also suggested that the results achieved after 40 years of renovation should be evaluated more closely, summarizing the role and contributions of the Provincial Front through the development stages of the country and closely linked with the local development process over 40 years of renovation. The content of the action program for the 2024-2029 term needs to be reviewed and supplemented with major contents such as: Summarizing 10 implementations of the Law on the Vietnam Fatherland Front in 2015; implementing the emulation movement "The whole country joins hands to "Eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" in 2025; Implementing the Project "Innovating, improving the quality and effectiveness of supervision and social criticism work of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations in the period of 2024 - 2029..."

Welcoming Thanh Hoa province's proposal to organize the "Meeting, exchanging, and praising typical grassroots Front cadres of the province in the period of 2019-2024", which creates momentum and positive encouragement for delegates attending the Congress, Vice Chairman Nguyen Huu Dung suggested that during the Congress, the province should add time frames for each item to facilitate the operation of the Congress; arrange to prepare speeches from social groups and classes, including speeches on the 6th Action Program "Building self-governing, united, prosperous and happy residential areas".

Regarding the Personnel Project, Vice Chairman Nguyen Huu Dung suggested that, in the current situation of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee for the 2019-2024 term, it is necessary to assess the advantages and difficulties of the Committee in terms of quantity, structure, composition as well as promoting the role of Committee members in the past term to serve as a basis for building the Fatherland Front Committee in the new term.
