Ambassador Vu Thanh Huyen presents credentials to the President of Tanzania

After the letter of credentials presentation ceremony, President Samia Suluhu Hassan warmly received Ambassador Vu Thanh Huyen. At the meeting, Ambassador Vu Thanh Huyen conveyed the regards and best wishes of General Secretary and President To Lam to President Samia Suluhu Hassan, the Government and people of Tanzania, along with an invitation for the President to visit Vietnam soon.

Expressing her joy and honor at being appointed as Vietnamese Ambassador to Tanzania, Ambassador Vu Thanh Huyen affirmed that she will do her best to expand and deepen the friendship and multifaceted cooperation as well as enhance mutual understanding and traditional friendship between the two countries; and at the same time, she hopes to receive active support from her and the Tanzanian Government during her term of office.

President Samia Suluhu Hassan congratulated Ambassador Vu Thanh Huyen on his assignment in Tanzania and sent his best wishes to President To Lam, the Government and people of Vietnam; and asked the Ambassador to convey his invitation to General Secretary and President To Lam to visit Tanzania soon to further strengthen the traditional relationship, friendship and cooperation, especially in the context of the two countries moving towards the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations in 2025.

President Samia affirmed the importance of the friendly cooperation between Vietnam and Tanzania; highly appreciated the good cooperation between the two countries in the fields of politics, economics and trade. President Samia Suluhu Hassan expressed his wish to visit Vietnam soon and admired the achievements of Vietnam; emphasized that Tanzania hopes to learn from and cooperate with Vietnam in areas of strength such as agriculture, green economy, tourism and ICT. At the same time, she pledged to work with the Tanzanian Government to create favorable conditions for the Ambassador to successfully complete his assigned tasks.
