These days, the atmosphere of welcoming the province's big festival is present in every street, alley, ward and commune. Everywhere is filled with flags, banners and slogans welcoming the Provincial Party Congress.
Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Truong An Ninh said that the preparations for the Party Congress were carried out in accordance with the spirit of Directive No. 45-CT/TW of the Politburo and the Central Committee's directives and guidelines. Up to now, the preparations for the congress have been completed in accordance with the process, ensuring the quality of content and progress set out.
The draft documents of the Congress have absorbed and concretized the guiding viewpoints, policies and major orientations of the Party and State leaders at the working sessions with the two localities of Quang Binh and Quang Tri (old); the key and core contents in the draft documents of the 14th Party Congress and the breakthrough resolutions of the 13th Politburo on innovating the work of law making and enforcement to meet the requirements of national development in the new era; developing science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation; international integration in the new situation; developing the private economy; ensuring national energy security until 2030, with a vision to 2045; developing education and training; strengthening the protection, care and improvement of people's health.
On that basis, the goals, targets, breakthroughs, tasks, and key solutions are determined to ensure coverage of all tasks and activities of the Party Committee in the 2025-2030 term. All are carried out in the spirit of clear work, clear results, high action and practicality, promoting the potential, strengths, and new development space of Quang Tri province after the merger.
The first Congress of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee has the theme: Building a clean and strong Party Committee and political system; promoting the strength of great national unity and development aspirations; mobilizing and effectively using all resources; innovating, digital transformation; striving to make Quang Tri a new growth pole in the central region.
With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Breakthrough - Development", the Congress will carry out two contents: Summarizing the implementation of the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term and determining the directions, goals, tasks and solutions for the 2025-2030 term; discussing and contributing opinions to the draft documents of the 14th National Congress of the Party.
The province's development viewpoint is to thoroughly grasp and creatively apply and develop the Party's policies and guidelines, resolutely organize the implementation of the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term. Affirm the role, position and nature of the newly merged administrative unit in the national territorial structure.
Reorganize the development space; harmoniously resolve the relationship between promoting the outstanding potential of the locality and the strength of regional connectivity, expanding the development space towards the sea and the west in association with the East-West economic corridor, and deep international integration. "The Congress is an important political event of the Party Committee, army and people of Quang Tri province, a particularly important milestone on the development path of the province after organizing and implementing the two-level local government", Comrade Truong An Ninh emphasized.
Along with the work of drafting documents, the logistics for the congress have also been completed. To welcome the congress, all sectors and levels have actively launched emulation movements. Along with that, the province has directed forces to grasp the situation and the development of people's thoughts, advise and coordinate to promptly resolve outstanding and pressing issues among the people right at the grassroots level.
Director of the Provincial Police, Major General Nguyen Thanh Liem, said that identifying the congress as the most important political task of the year, the entire force is highly prepared, seriously deploying plans to ensure absolute safety before and during the congress... With the spirit of careful and serious preparation, Quang Tri is ready to organize the 1st Provincial Party Congress with many new beliefs.
